Montreal Museums Day

The Stewart Museum will take part in the 33rd edition of the Montreal Museums Day, an open house for museums across the city. Come discover or rediscover our history from a unique perspective in the exhibition History and Memory, free of charge! You'll also have a chance to take home some great gifts!

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
Museum staff will lead interactive displays throughout the day in the History and Memory exhibition. You can also join one of our outdoor tours to learn more about the rich history of this outstanding heritage site in Montreal!

The Fort on St. Helen's Island
Explore Montreal's largest military site and its 19th century buildings.

Mediation in the Museum 
In the History and Memory exhibition
Roam freely through the exhibition, and visit the hands-on displays facilitated by our guides.
Throughout the day from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In the Museum's courtyard
Bring your lunch and take a well-deserved break in the courtyard to enjoy beautiful views of Montreal. 









 
Artistic Performance: Promito Playback

Enjoy exciting artistic performances from Promito Playback in the Museum, at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1 p.m.!  




Don't forget to take public transit!

Free STM shuttle on St. Helen's Island! The shuttle bus leaves every 20 minutes and stops at Jean-Drapeau station, the Biosphere, and the Stewart Museum. 

BIXI is free all day! The docking station is steps away from the Museum! (at La Ronde)
