TELL ME STORIES ABOUT NEW FRANCE
Young children become acquainted with objects in the Museum’s collection during this story-filled tour. They discover the realities of the past through encounters with four characters who lived in New France: the coureur des bois, the housewife, the soldier and the Iroquoian. Intertwined stories spark their imagination and foster an awareness of the past. A visit to the History and Memory exhibition is followed by a workshop where the children make a miniature canoe.
